Everyone wants to look their best and be an eye catcher. Well, a lot of people feel that makeup enhances their most treasured qualities and make them stand out more. For some people this is true, but if you aren’t applying the makeup correctly, there is really no need to put it on. What stands out the most on a lot of people are their eyes. The eyes needs to be captivating and clear. You don’t want to pile the make up on. You want a nice, clear, sheer look and feel to the makeup. Applying eye makeup correctly takes time for some people, but it can be done.

The first step is very important. Your face should be clean and dry. If it is damp, your makeup will clump and most of the time run. This is something that you don’t want to happen. After you cleanse your face and put on a moisturizing lotion, you are ready to apply your makeup.

Now it’s time to choose your color. Your color is very important. Contrary to a lot of people’s beliefs, you can’t just slap on any color to match your outfit for the day. This is not complimenting all the time. You should be choosing a color that enhances your face and brings out your skin tone.

Now it’s time to put it on! There should be a makeup brush located at the bottom of the case of makeup. There are usually two brushes, but it depends on how many color palettes you have. Once you have selected the color for you, take the applicator and gently rub it in your color section.

Then, you will lightly tap the applicator on the makeup palette so that the loose makeup falls back where the color is in its section. Now you can apply makeup. Gently glide the applicator across your eyelid so that the color goes on even & sheer.

After you have done this, follow these steps again for the other eye.
